Some snow scenery pics from round Orkney
Was a bit of a lull in the storm so to speak last week and the sun was out, had my camera in the van with me so took some snaps while i was going round to different jobs. Got some of the churchill barriers etc, some of these pictures have about 6 different islands in them believe it or not
 The barrier is barrier number 1 of 4 built round scapa flow in world war 2 after the royal oak was sank to protect the home fleet from U boats. And it just so happens that barrier 1 is exactly a quarter mile between the no stopping on causeway signs. Its a drag living here sometimes but love it at times too when you get to look at scenes like these. My cams a bit rubbish and im no photographer but i thought i would share a few of these with you folks.

Its as level as the sea but a bit bumpy here and there! Its not often theres not waves and seaspray washing over them though. Seen some late night twilight superblasts on the bikes over the barriers to the south isles, police free normally but if you go out there its the only way back! Good few sets of knee down corners out there
And there aint no gatsos up here, dont even have traffic lights anywhere! Trouble is theres weekly hand held speed gun action somewhere on the mainland
